La Longuera del Guijoso

2013 Kabronic

•50% Syrah + 50% Graciano

•Castiblanco (Syrah = .2 out of 3.8ha) + La Longuera del Guijoso (Graciano = .2 out of 1.1ha) vineyards

•Calcareous clay (Syrah) + Limestone (Graciano) soils

•Fermented via indigenous yeasts, Syrah was 50% whole cluster, Graciano was all whole cluster

•100+ day maceration

•Aged in used American oak for two months

•No SO2 added during entire process of vinification

•1,000 bottles produced

**This was bottled with a scant amount of residual sugar which has led to a scintillating, slightly sparkling wine. Unplanned. Really interesting.
