2013 Retortoiro

•Blend of Verdejo Tinto (approx. 80%) + 11 varietals (including Carrasquín, Albarín Tinto, Mencía, etc.)

•Retortoiro vineyard (.8ha)

•Slate, quartzite, anthracite, etc. (more degredation than La Zorrina) soils

•Foot-trodden fruit, fermented via indigenous yeasts in 2,000L, open-top chestnut casks (50-60% whole cluster)

•Aged approx. 18 months in used French oak

•No SO2 added during entire process of vinification

•2,000 bottles produced
